So I'm cleaning out my AOL bookmarks in preparation for my final, and much delayed, move to my new shiny MacMini computer. Since I have the extreme fortune to be under a neighborhood broadband network, I no longer need to pay for my internet access (YAY!). I've been clearing out my old bookmarks, and have discovered that I have a crapload of bookmarks. Good lord. I think I'm on six pages right now, and I've barely tackled any of the fanfiction stuff. So I'm making two posts. This is to clear out most of the miscellaneous stuff, graphic pages and recs for some of the smaller fandoms I love. Each subheading will have a different cut. HP Essays Comm. Always a lot of fun.

Mushrooms by Baylor. A whole series of the most fluffy, sad, touching hobbit stories. My very favorite LOTR page.
The Slashy Oscars. LOTrips for the night of the Oscars.
Double Vision Costume!kink, hobbit!porn and LOTrips combined into one. Does it get any better?
(s)he was a rare thing, as fine as a bee's wing. A very lovely Monaboyd.



Comic Book fanfics
Jane St. Claire, whom I fangirl most heartily. One of my very favorite authors in any fandom, not only because she writes Rictor/Shatterstar.
Catalyst by Tangerine. Boy, was I happy to find this. A Rictor/Shatterstar fic that’s been written since 1998, very mature and well thought out, hilarious and touching, and excellent characterization and writing. LOVED this one.
Mooksville. A very sappy, romantic series, mostly Gambit/Iceman. Not for the faint-hearted. Very sweet and hopeful, though.
Tangerine’s Dream. Old fanfiction by Tangerine, mostly Rictor/Shatterstar, Angel/Northstar, others.
The Rictor/Shatterstar page. A sadly small page dedicated to the slashy X-Force couple.
The Apollo/Midnighter Slash List. A collection of stories centering around one of comics’ (or are they the only ones still?) only out and active gay couples, from The Authority.
A Distant Utopia by Shrift. Apollo/Midnighter, and one of my very favorites.
Good Faith by Alicia McKenzie. Apollo/Midnighter, and very intelligent, eloquent story debating one of the many weird ethical choices that was made in the series, a decision to execute an entire continent. (If this sounds weird, they also killed god in a different storyline. I HIGHLY recommend this series)
Inequality by rageprufrock. FAKE, Dee/Ryo. Isn’t really a comic book, but since I have no other anime I threw it up here.
Powerpuff Girls doujinshi. I lied. That’s two anime things. A really awesome doujinshi.
The Gay League. A queer resource for comic book lovers. Totally awesome. Lists every LGBT comic book character ever and then some, and has lots of fun articles.



Graphics Resources
Photoshop brushes. My favorite site for free Photoshop brushes. Very unusual brushes in here.
Font Face. An excellent resources for free fonts.
Pixel Fonts. For downloading those neat fonts that can actually be read on icons.
Dynamic HTML Central. A very neat website for constructing websites.
Jack Slomovits’ Photography. Pretty, if rather staged, series of male nudes.
A neat graphic thing that I wanted to remember how to do.
eLouai’s Doll Maker. Still the best and such a guilty pleasure.
Babel Fish Translations. Not really a graphics site, but I suppose you can always, I dunno, do funny translations and then put them onto icons or something.
Reprodepot Fabrics. Vintage fabrics and trim, to be sold or used for fun graphic prints. I love this site.
